John St. Augustine

It's been searingly hot in Chicago, and John has opted to leave the air conditioning on in his studio during the show, which prompts a conversation with BeiBei about the mutual challenge they both face 7,000 miles apart, which is their respective neighbors' old, loud air conditioning units. BeiBei reveals a hack to cool down her 10-year-old laptop (that tends to overheat) by wrapping a cold pack in her daughter's underwear, and propping up her computer with the nearly frozen platform. John has to explain the uses of ice beyond computers such as when it comes to injuries, of which he's had many. BeiBei shares a story of the laptop her father bought her, a top-level model 15 years ago, a state-of-the-art computer at the time. John counters with a story about how his dad went above and beyond the call of duty, to help him purchase a piece of property. Finally, John & BeiBei compare notes about raising children.
